Canoe or kayak shuttle to Lloyd’s Shoals Ramp from Popper’s Boat Access Area. This is a four mile paddle with Class 1 shoals that traverses a beautiful, undeveloped section of the upper Ocmulgee River. Paddlers will be able to enjoy this section of the river at their leisure. Pack a lunch and enjoy the day, or head over to nearby Fresh Air BBQ in Jackson after your paddle. Their Brunswick stew and BBQ are world famous.
